How to enter
Please Read Carefully
Have the following details ready before you begin your entry registration.
Your contact details
If you are part of a group entry you will need the details of other entrants as well (including their own MEAA membership numbers)
The medium and category you are entering
An overall title for your entry (to be used in all publicity).
If submitting a URL/weblink please ensure all working and full http address supplied
The individual title/s of work entered
The program or publication it appeared in
The date of broadcast/publication
If you experience difficulty with the online entry registration, follow these steps:
Shut down your internet browser
Have all of your entry details at hand including your Alliance membership number, supporting statement (up to 200 words) etc
Restart your internet browser and go straight to the online entry site http://clarions.org/awards/
Once you enter the site, you have 20 minutes to complete the online entry form. If you go over 20 minutes, your session will "time out". The site will still allow you to continue the entry process but it WILL NOT give you an entry confirmation. If you do not get to the final page of the online entry asking you to confirm your entry details, your session has timed out and you will need to go back to step 1 above.
Once your online entry is submitted, you will receive an email titled "Entry Confirmation".

How to Enter
Complete the entry form registration online and send it in with the following material. Failure to supply the following may result in disqualification of the entry.
ONE copy of the entry must be submitted along with a ONE PRINTOUT OF YOUR CONFIRMATION OF ENTRY EMAIL WHICH INCLUDES YOUR ENTRY NUMBER.
Text-based Files
- ONE printout of the entry material OR
- ONE copy of each article saved in PDF format on a CD or USB. Where there is more than one article in the entry, each should be attached and collated by date of publication
- 200-word entry statement. Please note you only have 200 words per entry, not per piece of work
Television/Video Files
- ONE digital video file in MP4, WMV, MOV or AVI format of less than 700mb
- ONE copy of the transcript (where possible)
- The file MUST BE compatible with all computer operating systems. Please test DVD on both PC and MAC to ensure compatibly. Unreadable DVDs will not be accepted
- Label EACH FILE with your entry number and name
- We can also accept entry material via Vimeo, YouTube or other hosted streaming video service.
- Please enter the full URL /web link into the URL box in the entry registration submission on the entry detail page
- Please ensure the video will be accessible to other viewers (judges) so it is not 'private' or 'blocked'
- 200-word entry statement. Please note you only have 200 words per entry, not per piece of work
Digital Files
- Please insert the link to your entry when prompted. The link must be working and unaltered for judging from July,2013 to the end of August 2013
- Entrants should also provide electronic versions of material on disc in PDF format
- 200-word entry statement. Please note you only have 200 words per entry, not per piece of work
Audio Files
- ONE standard audio CD of the report/s and a copy of transcripts (where possible)
- The audio CD MUST BE compatible with all computer operating systems and CD players. Please test audio CD on both PC and MAC to ensure compatibility. Unreadable CDs will not be accepted
- Label each audio CD with your entry number and name
- We can also accept entry material via Sound Cloud or other hosted streaming audio service
- Please enter the full URL /web link into the Heading/Report Title box on the entry detail page
- Please ensure the audio file will be accessible to other listeners (judges) and downloadable and is not 'private' or 'blocked'
- Label each CD with your entry number and name
- 200-word entry statement. Please note you only have 200 words per entry, not per piece of work
Camerawork Files
- Each entrant must submit three pieces, representing a body of work
- Entries should be submitted on USB or CD along with a PDF of the publication in which it appeared
- Images should be in an uncompressed TIFF 10-15MB file size for printing. No cloning, montaging or digital manipulation other than cropping, 'digital spotting', burning and dodging is permitted
- Label each CD/USB with your entry number and name
